The Water is a right established by the General Observation number 15 of the UN. However, multilateral institutions pressure for the water to be recognised as an economic good and they promote policies that favour the commercialization of water.

Everyone's water: A right a not a product

ISF supports the human right to water with a public coordination and the social participation and control of its process, reinforcing the collaboration between the different public actors.

ISF develops programmes, supply and sanitation projects of this basic good. The objective is not only to provide water to the communities but also to get involved with the people in the fight for this elemental right: the access to water that is recognised by the United Nations.
